Do you have the plant I’m looking for in stock today?
Our benches change constantly, so the honest answer is to call before you drive out. Ring (805) 482-5460 and we will walk over and physically look for you rather than guess from a screen.
What kinds of fruit trees do you usually carry?
Citrus, avocado and blueberries are mainstays, alongside palms and other fruiting stock, in a range of sizes. Availability is seasonal and varieties rotate, so call ahead if you have a specific variety or rootstock in mind.
Do you carry California native or pollinator plants?
Yes. We keep natives and nectar plants that support bees, birds and butterflies, and we have hosted a monarch and milkweed seminar at the nursery with a native milkweed sale. Ask staff which milkweed is appropriate for our area before planting.
Do you offer delivery or planting?
Delivery and planting are both on our services list. The details depend on order size and where you are — call us with your address and what you are buying and we will quote it.
Do you offer landscape design or garden consulting?
Both. Custom landscape design includes an initial consultation and planning session, complete with professional suggestions and design schematics. Garden consulting is a lighter-touch option, tailored to your site and style. VIP members also get design sketches at the nursery with purchase.
Do you have pottery, fountains, bird baths or benches?
Yes — pottery is a substantial part of what we do, from small indoor planters to large glazed outdoor pots, plus water features, bird baths, sitting benches and vegetable planter boxes.
How often do new plants arrive?
Our selection is constantly changing. Instagram is the quickest way to see what has just come off the truck.
Are workshops and events family-friendly?
Yes. Our seminars, workshops and seasonal events such as the pumpkin carving contest are all open to families.
What are your hours on weekends and holidays?
We are open 8:00am–5:00pm weekdays and Saturdays, and 9:00am–4:00pm on Sunday. Holiday hours occasionally differ and rain can close us — we post changes to Instagram and Facebook the morning of.
Can I join the VIP program and what do I get?
The VIP membership is free. Members get 12 monthly promotions and design sketches at the nursery with purchase. We will not share your information — ever.
